Infrastructure and Utilities

Infrastructure development at Hòfi Sint Joris continues across multiple areas of the project. Current work includes restoring and reinforcing drainage channels (rooien), installing stormwater drainage channels, and extending utility infrastructure. Work has also begun on expanding utility services into Sections T3 and T4. This update highlights the latest developments and upcoming work.

Drainage and Streetscape Improvements

Drainage channels (rooien) have been restored and reinforced at several locations using vertical supports and horizontal beams. These works include areas along the east–west main access road, the northern side of Section C, and the area between T2 and T3/T4 in the northern direction. Work on the drainage channels in Sections A and B has also been completed.

Stormwater drainage channels have been installed along the utility corridors in Section F. Work has continued in Sections G, T2, and E/T1. These channels form part of the stormwater management infrastructure. Roadside verges in Sections A and B have also been finished, with finishing work subsequently undertaken in Sections C and D.

In Section E/T1, the recessed roadside areas have been completed and painted. Fencing has been installed along the east–west main access road, and speed bumps have been constructed on both the north–south and east–west main access roads.

Expansion of Utility Infrastructure

Utility installation is progressing in phases across the development. In Section T2, the lines for water, electricity, greywater, and data have been installed. Installation of these utilities has started in Sections T3 and T4, while preparatory work is underway for Sections T5 and T6.

Installing the infrastructure is an important step in preparing these sections for further development. However, the installation of utility lines does not necessarily mean that the services are ready for use. Additional finishing work and connection arrangements may still be required.

Sanitary facilities, including a toilet and shower, have also been completed near the soccer field and padel court.

Second-grade water (grijswater) Systeem
