Progress Update
Within Hòfi Sint Joris, work is progressing across multiple fronts as further development continues. In this update, we provide an overview of the most important current activities, including the status of infrastructure works, progress across the various sections, and the recent results of the owner survey. This ensures you remain informed about the latest developments within the project.
Water Connections and Aqualectra
Following extensive testing, water quality in sections EG and T1 has now also been approved. This means that owners in these sections may proceed with submitting an application for a connection with Aqualectra. This step is required, as the existing interim meters will be decommissioned in the near term.
Applications can be submitted directly via the Aqualectra website. When the Homeowners’ Association is informed of an application, efforts can be made in coordination to shorten the standard processing time of six weeks. Owners are therefore requested to also notify the HOA through the established contact channels once their application has been submitted.
Infrastructure Progress and Works
Infrastructure works are progressing according to schedule. Along the west-to-east arterial access road, reinforcement of the embankment is currently underway. This is a necessary preparatory step to enable sections of the road to be asphalted in the near future. At the same time, drainage in this area is being improved through reinforcement and elevation adjustments.
In section T2, works have entered a subsequent phase. Trenches are being excavated for the installation of cables, utilities, and data infrastructure. In addition, the road profile is being brought to the correct elevation in preparation for future asphalt works.
Following completion of works in T2, phase three can commence, representing the final stage of this part of the development. In this context, the transformer station for sections T3 and T4 will be installed shortly. For sections T5 and T6, installation is expected to follow within two to three weeks.
Survey Results on Construction Status
In February, a survey was conducted among owners to gain insight into the progress of home construction within Hòfi Sint Joris. This information is essential for further planning, including the final asphalt layer and the transfer of shared infrastructure.
The survey response rate was approximately 30 percent. Combined with additional verification, this has provided a representative overview of the current situation within sections AB through T1. The findings indicate that fewer than 20 percent of plots currently have active construction or are being occupied.
The non-responding group, approximately 70 percent, is expected to consist largely of owners who do not have immediate construction plans. This group also includes plots currently listed for sale.
Request for Updated Information
To ensure proper coordination of ongoing development, we greatly value having up-to-date information. If you have not yet responded to the survey, or if your construction plans have changed, we kindly invite you to share your updated information with us. This will assist in aligning planning as accurately and appropriately as possible with the situation on the ground.
The coming period will continue to focus on the execution of works and the alignment of planning with development across the various sections. We will continue to keep you informed through our newsletter on relevant progress and decisions. Should you have any questions in the meantime, you may contact us at info@hofisintjoris.com.
