International Events in Curaçao

In early 2026, Curaçao will once again serve as the stage for a series of high-profile international events spanning sport, culture and motorsport spectacle. From golf and film to drag racing, the island will welcome visitors and participants from across the region and beyond between March and May, offering diverse programs designed to engage a broad audience.

7th AT Curaçao Invitational Golf Tournament

From 19 to 22 March 2026, the 7th AT Curaçao Invitational Golf Tournament will take place at Old Quarry Golf Course in Santa Barbara. Organized by AGAT Events, this four-day tournament features 36 holes of competitive play and is recognized as an exclusive event that seamlessly combines business networking with high-level sport.

Participants include high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurs from Europe, the United States and South America. The tournament is hosted on one of the Caribbean’s most distinctive golf courses, designed by Pete Dye. Its natural contours and dramatic setting between the Caribbean Sea and Table Mountain create a technically challenging and visually striking playing environment.

Old Quarry Golf Course has established itself as a leading golf destination in Curaçao, offering panoramic views and premium facilities that attract both recreational players and seasoned golfers.

12th Curaçao International Film Festival

From 14 to 19 April 2026, The Movies Otrobanda will host the 12th edition of the Curaçao International Film Festival (CIFF). This year’s edition expands the program with an additional festival day and introduces the new Watapana Award, dedicated to filmmakers from the Caribbean part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Suriname.

Named after the iconic Watapana tree—a symbol of strength and resilience—the award honors the legacy of early Curaçao filmmaker Wilbert Tecla. In addition to a cash prize, award winners will receive international exposure, including screenings at partner festivals in Mexico and the Netherlands.

The festival program features a wide range of domestic and international productions, further strengthening CIFF’s position as a platform for regional and global film culture. For the 2026 edition, a significant increase in submissions has been recorded within the Caribbean Focus segment, reflecting growing engagement from filmmakers across the region.

Beyond its main competitions, the festival also includes collaborative projects pairing emerging filmmakers with local organizations active in healthcare, education, nature and sports. These partnerships result in short documentaries, which will premiere during the festival.

Caribbean Pinks All Out 2026

Caribbean Pinks All Out 2026 will take place from 30 April to 3 May 2026 at the Curaçao International Raceway in Ronde Klip. Presented by Jacky Circuit, the event is widely regarded as one of the region’s largest and most prominent motorsport gatherings.

Over the course of the weekend, spectators can expect high-speed races and intense competition, featuring both cars and motorcycles. In previous editions, the event expanded its programming to include a classic car show and competitions across multiple categories, underscoring its broad appeal beyond the main drag racing program.

With participation from both local and international drivers, the event provides a dynamic platform for motorsport enthusiasts and professionals to connect and celebrate drag racing culture.

Together, these three events position Curaçao as a versatile destination between March and May, where sport, culture and motorsport converge. They offer residents and international visitors alike the opportunity to participate in — or experience — programming at an international level.
