Following this period, Rachelle transitioned into the corporate sector, where she initially took on the role of Finance Manager. Over the years, she progressed to Chief Operating Officer (COO) and co-owner of a company that developed into an international player.

What she values most in her work is collaborating within a diverse team, where different nationalities, ages, and areas of expertise come together to build a development with strong potential.
A key focus in her work is the continuous improvement of processes. She takes a critical approach to optimizing workflows, ensuring greater efficiency without compromising quality, and where possible, enhancing it.

She can often be found in nature, walking her dog, particularly around the Sint Joris Bay area. She also works out several times a week and has a passion for healthy cooking.
Looking ahead, Rachelle hopes that Curaçao, despite its ongoing growth and development, will retain its unique identity. She also believes it is important that the local community benefits from this growth, particularly within the tourism sector.
