Infrastructure
Over the past several months, we have taken significant steps forward in the continued infrastructure development of Hòfi Sint Joris. During January and February, work progressed simultaneously at multiple locations, focusing on the completion of ongoing segments and the preparation of upcoming phases. As a result, the internal road network of Hòfi Sint Joris is becoming increasingly defined.
Sections F and E-T1 Near Completion
In Section F, asphalt works have been substantially finalized. This was followed by the finishing of road shoulders, ensuring that the immediate surroundings of the carriageway are properly completed. This week, additional works commenced to raise several utility lines and cables, aligning the underground infrastructure with the new road profile.
Section E-T1 has also reached a key milestone. The final curbstones have been installed, and the entire section has now been asphalted. With this, the primary structural works for this section have been completed.
Developments GOW-NZ 2 and Section G
Along the alignment of the Primary Distributor Road North South 2 (GebiedsOntsluitingsWeg Noord Zuid 2), approximately 245 meters of low curbing has been installed. Limestone was subsequently applied and this segment has been asphalted. The remaining portion of this road will be finished with coral stone, allowing the route to be completed in a phased manner.
Section G is now fully equipped with low curbs, a limestone base, and asphalt surface. The pavement structure is therefore complete, and the road is ready for use.
Main Road Completed with Final Surface and Lighting
Works on the main road have delivered visible progress in recent weeks. Earlier, a binder layer was applied in preparation for the final finish. Both the southern and northern carriageways have now been fully completed with the final wearing course. At the same time, all streetlights have been installed, providing the main road with the required public lighting infrastructure.
Perimeter Fencing and New Access System
Installation of the perimeter fencing along the southern side of the West East distributor road commenced last week, further completing the layout of this part of the development.
In addition, a new gate access system has been implemented. Residents can now open the gate via our GSM dialer system. By calling the registered gate number from an authorized phone, the gate opens automatically. This upgrade enhances both convenience and operational efficiency at Hòfi Sint Joris. New residents may register for access via info@hofisintjoris.com.
These works establish a strong foundation for the continued development of Hòfi Sint Joris. In the coming period, we will proceed with the completion of ongoing phases and will continue to keep you informed on next steps.
