Sports Facilities
26-2-2026
The sports facilities at Hòfi Sint Joris, including the soccer field and padel court, are experiencing steadily increasing use by residents and plot owners. In addition to their sporting function, these amenities contribute meaningfully to interaction and social cohesion within the residential community.
Both facilities are exclusively available to residents and plot owners. Reservations can be made easily via the app and are available until 10:00 PM. Each plot owner is entitled to three hours of reservation time per week, which may be allocated across multiple time slots at their discretion. This structure provides flexibility while ensuring fair and balanced access for all users.
Padel Court
The padel court continues to prove highly popular. At various times during the week, the court is fully booked, with enthusiastic participation across the community. The strong level of interest demonstrates that the facility aligns well with residents’ preferences and represents a valuable addition to the project’s sports amenities.
With increased demand, it is essential that usage remains fair and transparent. Reservations are intended for personal use by plot owners and their immediate family members. Booking on behalf of a son or daughter, even if the owner is not present, is permitted. However, reservations for third parties from outside the project, without participation by residents or family members, are not allowed. Although this has occurred occasionally, compliance will be monitored more strictly going forward. Gate security maintains an up-to-date reservation list and oversees adherence to the established guidelines.
Soccer Field and Pick-Up Games
The soccer field is also actively used. Informal “pick-up games” are organized on a regular basis, providing residents with an accessible and low-commitment opportunity to participate. These matches encourage active engagement and further strengthen social cohesion within the community. A photograph accompanying this article provides a clear impression of the atmosphere during these games.
Residents and plot owners who wish to participate can register easily. The pick-up games are organized at the initiative of residents themselves, underscoring the active and engaged character of the community.
In addition, the soccer field is made available once per week to boys from the surrounding neighborhood. This initiative fosters positive connections with the wider community and operates under clear agreements to ensure that regular use by residents remains fully safeguarded.
Following the transfer of the project to the Homeowners’ Associations (HOAs), the associations will determine whether and in what form this initiative will continue. In this way, a careful balance is maintained between resident use and broader community involvement.
Shared Responsibility
The sports facilities are intended exclusively for residents and plot owners. By managing reservations responsibly and showing consideration for one another, we ensure that access remains fair, transparent, and enjoyable for all. Together, we maintain an accessible and active environment where sports and community connection remain central.
