New Development at Hòfi Sint Joris

Within Hòfi Sint Joris, work is underway on the further development of a new residential offering in the form of modern townhouses. This expansion introduces an additional housing typology that aligns with the core principles of the resort: living in a calm, natural environment with emphasis on safety and shared amenities.

Types of Townhouses

The development comprises two townhouse series. The T1-3 units are designed as semi-detached homes. The T1-10 units consist of linked residences within the same residential area. Both housing types follow a comparable layout with a living area of approximately 124 m² distributed across two floors.

The design prioritizes practical use and comfort, offering three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The main living area of approximately 40 m² serves as the central space of the home and connects directly to the outdoors through large windows and sliding doors. Standard features include air conditioning and modern technical installations.

While the two typologies differ slightly in execution, this is most notably reflected in the outdoor spaces. The T1-3 units feature a terrace with the option for a private swimming pool, while the T1-10 units are delivered with a plunge pool as standard.

Integration Into the Surrounding Environment

The new construction forms part of the broader resort concept of Hòfi Sint Joris, where residential living is combined with access to shared facilities such as sports fields and an outdoor gym. The location near the coastal zone provides a direct connection to the surrounding landscape.

The area is characterized by open nature and recreational space. Cycling and walking routes run through the development and connect to existing paths, while the nearby bay is known as a destination for water sports activities such as kitesurfing. This natural context has been a key consideration in the positioning and orientation of the homes.

Architecture and Residential Quality

The architectural approach of the townhouses emphasizes natural light, spatial efficiency, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor living. Open floor plans and large facade openings support natural ventilation and provide visual connections to the environment. This aligns with Curaçao’s climate, where outdoor living is an essential part of daily residential use.

Rental and Usage Opportunities

As the townhouses are located within the T section, both short-term and long-term rental are permitted. This makes the properties highly suitable as investment assets or holiday homes, with the potential to generate monthly returns through platforms such as Airbnb. Owners also retain the flexibility to enter into agreements with a property management provider of their choice, allowing operational structures to be tailored to individual investment strategies.

Planning and Project Timeline

The townhouse development is scheduled in phases. Construction of the T1-3 units is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2026, with completion targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026. The T1-10 units will follow in a later phase, with construction planned to start in the second quarter of 2026 and completion expected in the first quarter of 2027.

With this expansion, Hòfi Sint Joris continues to advance the development of the area, broadening its residential offering and further aligning with the characteristics of the location and the needs of future residents.
